Softswitch Engineers for ISUP/SS7 Development


Position and Experience	Development Engineers – ISUP/SS7 (2 to 6 years) We are looking for development engineers to work on the Softswitch. The Softswitch supports VoIP services (based on SIP, H.323, MEGACO etc.) as well as PSTN services. The work involves implementing various country variants of ISUP and implementing features based on ISUP. The environment is Solaris and the development is in C++. This development position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent compensation in Pune.
Required Profile	1. Experience with ISUP and its variants, and related call control 2. Excellent Perl skills 3. Proficiency in XML, experience in development of applications using XML 4. Excellent skills in object oriented programming using C++ 5. Excellent SS7 telephony skills with Telecom experience 6. Bachelor's/Master's degree in CS/EE from a recognized university 7. 2-3 years of experience minimum
Desired Profile	1. Sound knowledge of software development methodologies and processes to be followed in fast-paced start-up environment 2. Experience in tool development desirable 3. Experience in development of Multi-threaded systems desirable 4. Good user-level skills on Solaris/UNIX systems 5. Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills with the ability to deal with very demanding Management and team members

Desired Prior Work Experience	Product engineering experience at companies building software or appliances for career network equipment. Knowledge of Silicon Valley culture is highly desirable.
